Yeah, Mon! Tamar and I just returned from our trip to Jamaica where we photographed the wedding of Lindsay and Chris (wedding photos to follow in the next few days). Jamaica was wonderful and I wanted to share some photos from our trip.

I've fallen behind in my blog duties this month. It's been crazy busy with Tamar being across the pond and weddings every weekend. So to catch up I am posting some highlights from weddings over the past few weeks. Enjoy!

Blue Number Nine at the Summer Sounds of Jazz Concert

It was a joy to work with the members of Blue Number Nine all the way from New York/New Jersey Friday night. They were part of the Sounds of Summer Jazz Concerts in downtown Altoona. Not only are they talented musicians, they are really fun people and I enjoyed hanging out with them.

Slacker Theory

I was photographing my friends from Euphoria last week when I met Steve and Dalton with band called Slacker Theory. These guys possess amazing talent. Most of the music they performed was original and I was very impressed. They did one cover - Nickelback's "Follow You Home" and it was incredible. I could have listened to them for hours. If you get a chance to check them out, don't pass it up. They play frequently at "30 Something" in Altoona.

We had a relaxing vacation at the Grand Princess Resort in Playa del Carmen Mexico. My favorite part was snorkeling with my family. It was so much fun to float like a fish in the water and be able to see the beautiful fish and plants under the sea.

We just got home from Mexico and what a great vacation it was! I will post more images tomorrow, but here are two taken in the pool with my underwater camera.

Laura and Dan are as sweet as they are good looking. I had a great time photographing their big day Saturday. Congratulations!

I never laughed so hard...

...in a session as I did yesterday while photographing little Troy. He was such a delight. He made my otherwise dull day really fun.

I feel old.

The first time I photographed this family Norman was a young boy, or at least he seemed that way compared to how he is now. Now he is graduating from high school. Time flies.

Jill and John

Two months after their fabulous wedding in Las Vegas, Jill and John had their wedding reception at Sunne Hanna Country Club. This was an exquisite event that will be remembered by everyone who attended for quite some time. I especially enjoyed Big Ed, the DJ from Rockin' Bob's Disc Jockeys. Ed really knew how to get the crowd going.

Introducing EUPHORIA

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful group of very talented individuals this week who make up the new band EUPHORIA. They were kind enough to play at the grand opening of our studio and I can tell you they are awesome! I see good things on the horizon for them. Meet Corrinne and Greg - a beautiful couple with gorgeous blue eyes. I can't wait to photograph their wedding!

Photographers rocked the studio ...

We held a photography workshop last week and when you get a group of photogs together you HAVE to have a party!!! Thanks so much to Todd and Phil for providing the most awesome music! They were absolutely incredible - the highlight of the evening for sure. And thanks to my photographer friends for coming as far away as WV and OH to attend our workshop and celebrate our new studio with us. Love you guys!!!
